We just opened the camp to public/tourists in October 2023 and there is some construction still being done in some areas.

While staying you can have a tour of the Milky Way Glowworm Cave or do bush walking, bouldering or rock climbing.​

Motorhome Area

The motorhome area has sites for vehicles from vans, trailers, buses, and articulated house trucks.  Most sites are 6m wide and 8m long.  There are some 4m wide and 12m long.  If you are very long like an articulated house trucks you can join some sites to make a 24m long site.   In this area there is 1 flush toilet and 1 shower (uses $2 coin for 5 minutes) and kitchen.

There are also 4 tent sites 8m x 8m. (not roof tents as these are vehicles which go on vehicle sites).

There is a grey water dump (no chemical as we are on septic tank) in the motorhome area.

Tent Area

The tenting area is separate from the motor home area although we can fit some motorhomes in this area

if families are doing mixed camping with some in tents and some in motorhomes.

Tent sites are 9m x9m square, a few at the end of the row maybe slightly off square.

If you are a ROOF TENT VEHICLE you can park in one of allocated spots on gravel. 

TENT SITES are for TENTS ONLY so NO VEHICLES.  There is plenty of parking on the gravel for vehicles. 

There is 1 kitchen with 2 double sinks and 2 x 4 burner cookers.  2 flush toilets (more being built) and

2 showers (more being built)with good pressure and volume which takes a $2 coin for $5 minutes. 

There is also 2 old long drops and 1 long drop urinal (these will be removed as soon as more flush toilets are installed).

The camp is a dark skies area so we do not have lighting everywhere, so bring your torch.

There is a firepit but this must not be used when windy or during a fire ban and must be fully watered

until dead each night after use.

Camp Fees

$15 per person per night tent or motorhome.

POWERED motorhome $18 per person per night.

Ages 0-5 free.

Hot showers use a $2 coin for 5 minutes.

Gate and Office hours

Dates change across the year. 

Camp ground is closed from

Monday 14th July 2025 until Friday 29th August 2025

as we are doing construction in some areas.

Closed Days 

We are closed Christmas Day so do not accept people arriving on this day. 

You can come before and stay if you like.​

If you have booked and arriving after gates close

we will tell you know how to get in and where to park.

 

Camp Rules

PETS - NO PETS which means NO DOGS or NO CATS anywhere on the property.

 

SMOKING or VAPING - Smoking tobacco/cigarettes or vaping is only permitted in your

own vehicle or tent and nowhere else. 

 

DRUGS & ALCOHOL - No intoxicated behaviour.

 

VEHICLES - Don't drive or park on the grass tent sites as there is plenty of parking on gravel. 

Don't drive past the sign which NO VISITOR VEHICLES BEYOND THIS POINT.

Speed limit is 10km/h (walking quickly speed) in the car park, in camp areas.

 

PARTIES - no parties unless you have booked the entire camp for this purpose.

 

NOISE - Quiet at 10pm to 8am.  No loud music.  Be considerate of others.  NEW YEARS NIGHT (31st December)

tolerance of noise is extended to 1am but you must be considerate of others and keep volumes low.

MOTORHOME/CARAVAN WASTE WATER - Absolutely no waste treatment chemicals into our septic system.
