We just opened the camp to public/tourists in October 2023 and there is some construction still being done in some areas.

Motorhome Area

The motorhome area is ready for self contained vehicles from vans, trailers, buses, and articulated house trucks. 

Sites for small vehicles are 6m wide and 8m long and the largest sites are 4m wide and 25m long.

We will be adding toilets, showers, kitchen and grey water (no chemical as we are on septic tank) for the motorhome area in the coming months.

Tent Area

The tenting area is separate from the motor home area although we can fit some motorhomes in this area

if families are doing mixed camping with some in tents and some in motorhomes.

Tent sites are 9m x9m square, a few at the end of the row maybe slightly off square.

If you are a ROOF TENT VEHICLE you can park in one of allocated spots on gravel. 

TENT SITES are for TENTS ONLY so NO VEHICLES.  There is plenty of parking on the gravel for vehicles. 

There is 1 kitchen with 2 double sinks and 2 x 4 burner cookers.  2 flush toilets (more being built) and

2 showers (more being built)with good pressure and volume which takes a $2 coin for $5 minutes. 

There is also 2 old long drops and 1 long drop urinal (these will be removed as soon as more flush toilets are installed).

The camp is a dark skies area so we do not have lighting everywhere, so bring your torch.

There is a firepit but this must not be used when windy or during a fire ban and must be fully watered

until dead each night after use.

Camp Fees

First night $50 for up to 2 people then $15 per person.

extra nights $30 up to 2 person then $15 per person.

babies and toddlers (0-3 years) are free.

These prices will change some time in 2024,

but if you book and get quoted a price we will honour that quote.

Examples: 

1 person stay 1 night = $50

1 person stay 2 nights = $80

1 person stay 3 nights = $110

2 people stay 1 night = $50

2 people stay 2 nights = $80

2 people stay 3 nights = $110

3 people stay 1 night = $65

3 people stay 2 nights = $110

3 people stay 3 nights = $155

Gate and Office hours

Busy periods as below, open 8.30am, close 7pm. 

Summer holiday period - 15 December 2023 to 18 February 2024.

Easter holiday period - Thursday 28th March to Monday 1st April 2024.

3rd school term holiday - Friday 27th September to Sunday 13th October 2024.

Labour Weekend - Friday 25th to Monday 28th October 2024.

 All other dates, open 8.30am, close 4.30pm.

 

If you have booked and arriving after gates close

we will tell you know how to get in and where to park.

 

Camp Rules

PETS - NO PETS which means NO DOGS or NO CATS anywhere on the property.

 

SMOKING or VAPING - Smoking tobacco/cigarettes or vaping is only permitted in your

own vehicle or tent and nowhere else. 

 

DRUGS & ALCOHOL - No intoxicated behaviour.

 

VEHICLES - Don't drive or park on the grass tent sites as there is plenty of parking on gravel. 

Don't drive past the sign which NO VISITOR VEHICLES BEYOND THIS POINT.

Speed limit is 10km/h (walking quickly speed) in the car park, in camp areas.

 

PARTIES - no parties unless you have booked the entire camp for this purpose.

 

NOISE - Quiet at 10pm to 8am.  No loud music.  Be considerate of others.  NEW YEARS NIGHT (31st December)

tolerance of noise is extended to 1am but you must be considerate of others and keep volumes low.

MOTORHOME/CARAVAN WASTE WATER - Absolutely no waste treatment chemicals into our septic system.
